Our hugely successful market leading client is offering an amazing opportunity for a dynamic, motivated, comercially aware Finance professional to manage the small finance team. The successful candidate will be from a Manufacturing or shopfitting background and will suit a person who is happy to be hands on. The business is busy, things are fluid, which means on occasion it can be challenging, but very rewarding. Key duties Management of the finances of the company, cashflow and generation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports, forecasts and projections. Management of the monthly payrolls. Advises on all aspects of business planning, working with the MD in making large-scale financial decisions, and giving guidance on financial, investments, savings and pensions. Key Performance Areas Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements Managing accounting practices across the organisation Producing long-term financial business plans Financial forecasting Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance Implementing and managing budgets and reporting to the MD Developing and managing financial systems/models Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments Conducting business analyses and scenarios Preparation of monthly accounting reports and contribution to the Annual Financial Plans Management of the payroll system and labour cost projections To monitor overall project programmes, indicating key timelines including milestones are clearly visible, achievable and within budget, as part of the financial reporting. Minimum Qualifications Degree in Accounting or Finance or qualified by experience Sound background in accounting Experience Minimum of three years’ work experience in financial management Shop Fitting and Manufacturing experience an advantage Cashflow, Cost/Budget Management essential Skills Fully computer literate in SAGE and the willingness to learn in-house and other software programmes Good communication skills Sound analytical skills Methodical, systematic process driven approach to tasks Positive and “can do” approach to work Clear leadership qualities If you are interested in the role and have the required experience please apply with your CV, if you are short;isted Clover Recruitment will be in touch
