Role Overview
Senior Project Manager – Business Operations.
This role is an exciting opportunity to build a Project Management framework from the ground up within a newly established Business Operations function for a scaling SaaS business. You will have genuine autonomy to shape how work gets done, setting frameworks, methodologies and best practices with limited legacy constraints or inherited processes to navigate. As the first Project Manager within Business Operations, you will create the PM function, making a large impact across revenue, customer success, ops, product, engineering and legal.
Responsibilities
* Own delivery of a portfolio of high‑impact projects, ensuring outcomes across scope, time and budget.
* Lead select projects end‑to‑end with sponsors; provide governance and oversight for others.
* Create and maintain clear project plans covering timelines, resources and dependencies.
* Drive cross‑functional alignment and accountability across UK & APAC stakeholders.
* Identify, manage and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies.
* Provide clear reporting, documentation and stakeholder visibility.
* Continuously improve project management frameworks, tools and standards.
Qualifications
* Strong project management experience across a range of disciplines and projects.
* Proven experience building PM frameworks within a start‑up or scale‑up SaaS business.
* Strong understanding of various project management methodologies.
* Experience managing concurrent projects tied to large commercial value and outcomes.
* Mature stakeholder management skills – can prioritise competing demands.
* Ability to balance hands‑on delivery with governance and oversight responsibilities.
* Strong awareness of Project Management tools and how to implement and champion them.
* Experience managing risks, budgets and timelines effectively.
* A collaborative mindset and ability to influence without direct authority.
