Senior Product Designer, Banking, 6+ months,
My client, a large bank, is looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join their team on a 6-month contract. You’ll play a key role in shaping user-centered digital experiences, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.
This will be inside IR35, Circa £450-485 per day, once a week on site and their looking for candidates with previous Banking or Finance experience
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead end-to-end design for key product areas, from discovery through to delivery
2. Translate complex requirements into intuitive, elegant user experiences
3. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
4. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams
5. Contribute to and evolve design systems and best practices
6. Use data and user insights to inform design decisions
Requirements
7. Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer (or similar role)
8. Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design across web and/or mobile products
9. Expertise in design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
10. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
