About the role:

Inpost/Menzies Distribution is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Rhyl. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient handling and smooth running of our Newstrade operation,ensuring operational targets are met while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality. Working closely with the operational team, you will help drive performance, and manage a smooth, seamless operation throughout, and support your team in achieving their nightly objectives.
Location:KINMEL PARK INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, BODELWYDDAN, RHYL,LL18 5TY
Shift Pattern:Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Hours:02.00am - 10.30am
Salary: £29,016 p/a
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and motivate the warehouse night team ensuring the smooth running of the operation, reporting to the Warehouse nightshift Manager.
* Manage and monitor the throughput and productivity of the shift to ensure operational targets are met
* Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
* Train and develop new team members to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures
* Support the shift manager in overseeing nightly operations and resolving any issues promptly
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company policies and health & safety standards

* A proactive leader with experience in warehouse management or a similar role
* Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* A flexible, adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
