A fast-growing specialist in royalties data, rights management, audit, and valuations is seeking an experienced Transaction Services Manager to join its expanding team. The firm combines deep sector knowledge with advanced data capabilities, supporting clients across music catalogue acquisitions, sales, and broader royalty-driven transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of financial analysis, data insight, and intellectual property economics in a rapidly evolving sector.
Role Overview
You will take ownership of smaller transactions while supporting senior leadership on larger, multi-workstream deals. The position involves close collaboration with data engineering teams and hands-on supervision of junior analysts. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial diligence, modelling, and reporting for clients and investors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead financial due diligence on music catalogue acquisitions and disposals.
* Manage data rooms, diligence trackers, and information requests across active transactions.
* Conduct detailed royalty and earnings analysis to generate meaningful client insights.
* Build and review financial models for catalogue valuations and deal assessment.
* Produce clear, investment-grade reports and presentations.
* Supervise junior team members, providing structured guidance and quality review.
* Engage directly with clients, investors, and external counterparties.
* Contribute analytical and commercial input to complex transactions involving multiple workstreams.
About You
* 5+ years’ experience in transaction services, corporate finance, private equity, investment banking, or a similar deal-focused environment.
* Advanced financial modelling skills and experience building audit-ready models from scratch.
* Strong financial due diligence capability, including working capital and cash flow analysis.
* Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to translate complex findings into clear client deliverables.
* Proven project management skills and the ability to run multiple processes concurrently.
* Experience managing junior staff and reviewing work to a high standard.
* Self-sufficient, solutions-driven, and comfortable working at pace with limited oversight.
