Rate: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Temporary / Long-term
About the Role
We are recruiting a Pastoral Support Assistant to work within a specialist alternative education setting. You will support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement, helping them access learning in a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide emotional and pastoral support to pupils.
* Support pupils during lessons and unstructured times.
* Assist with behaviour management strategies.
* Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a pastoral, youth work or support role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Calm, empathetic and resilient approach.
* Commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
