Job Purpose The Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) Lead will play a central role in ensuring that the voices of patients, carers, and communities, particularly those experiencing the poorest cancer outcomes, are embedded in the design, delivery, and evaluation of cancer services across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Firmly embedded within the Cancer Alliance Early Diagnosis Team, the postholder will lead the development and delivery of a coordinated PPI approach that strengthens community insight, supports co‑production, and ensures that early diagnosis initiatives are shaped by lived experience and community need. The role will act as a bridge between the Cancer Alliance, Spring North, VCFSE partners, and local communities, ensuring that engagement is inclusive, culturally competent, and aligned with NHS England’s Working with People and Communities guidance.
