Senior Commodity Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commodity Buyer to manage strategic sourcing activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive cost savings, supplier performance, and supply continuity across key commodity categories.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement and RFQ processes
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
Source new suppliers and manage global supply risks
Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
Deliver cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Planning
Maintain ERP/MRP data and track commodity KPIsAbout You
Proven procurement/buying experience in manufacturing or engineering
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Commercially driven with strong analytical ability
ERP/MRP/SAP and advanced Excel skills
CIPS or continuous improvement knowledge (desirable)Please note this position is only suitable for candidates who are already able to live and work in the UK without restriction. No relocations please.
