The project: The Project Controls Manager will apply project controls processes at the project level, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across cost, schedule, risk, and change management activities. This role is responsible for maintaining project-level baselines, updating forecasts, and supporting Earned Value Management to enable effective performance monitoring. The position will assist with risk register maintenance, cost control, and change management, while ensuring compliance with governance standards and data integrity across systems. The role will also contribute to digitalisation initiatives, support integration of statutory commitments into project plans, and collaborate closely with delivery teams and other project controls disciplines to maintain consistency and optimise outcomes. Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively are key to success in this role You’ll be responsible for: Applying integrated project controls and assurance. Delivering timely, accurate reporting aligned objectives. Maintaining governance, compliance, continuous improvement. Applying EVM, track performance data. Managing schedules and cost baselines effectively. Monitoring risks, opportunities and mitigation plans. Supporting commercial control, forecasting and change. Ensuring data integrity, digital adoption, stakeholder coordination. You’ll need to have: Project controls experience on large infrastructure projects (£50m). Proven delivery of reporting, forecasting and scheduling. Strong collaboration across integrated teams and stakeholders. Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Power BI. Understanding of governance, baseline and change control. Skilled in EVM, KPIs and performance analysis. Experience supporting cost and commercial processes. Awareness of NEC contracts and industry standards.
