What You Will Do:
* Research and identify opportunities for emerging technologies such as automation, AI, and digital platforms within Adult Social Care.
* Develop comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessments.
* Engage with frontline staff, managers, and operational teams to understand challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
* Work closely with people with lived experience, carers, advocacy groups, and the voluntary and community sector to ensure co-produced solutions.
* Collaborate with ICT, Digital, and Business Change teams to assess feasibility, integration, and alignment with existing systems.
* Ensure proposed solutions align with Adult Social Care transformation objectives, legislative frameworks, and the Medway 2.0 programme.
* Apply structured project management approaches to deliver outputs within agreed timescales, maintaining clear documentation throughout.
* Promote council values, equality, safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety in all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in project management or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of Adult Social Care within a public sector environment.
* Proven experience leading complex projects or programmes at a senior level.
* Demonstrable experience developing business cases and evidence-based reports for senior stakeholders.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including consultation with residents, partners, and internal teams.
* Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and performance monitoring.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.
