You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of electronic equipment, ensuring all systems perform to the highest standards of quality and reliability.
The Job You’ll Do:
* Carry out repair and maintenance on electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
* Use soldering and rework techniques to service and refurbish electronic components.
* Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to support fault diagnosis and repair.
* Troubleshoot issues at the component level using test equipment and diagnostic tools.
* Apply knowledge of components including SMT/SMD, PTH, and other key electronic parts.
* Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support technical projects and meet operational deadlines.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
About You:
* A detail-oriented and methodical approach to fault-finding and repair.
* Strong technical understanding of electronics, circuits, and component-level troubleshooting.
* Hands-on experience using test instruments and hand tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to continuous improvement.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A qualification in Electronics or a related technical field (degree or diploma preferred).
* Previous experience in an electronic repair or maintenance role (minimum 3 years desirable).
* A valid UK driving licence is preferred
