Welder/Fabricator (Temp to Perm)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of steel components and assemblies to engineering drawings and customer specifications, ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel and bespoke metalwork.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately.
- Working independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong MIG welding skills (other welding processes advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working with mild steel and structural steel components.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
- Relevant welding qualifications are desirable but not essential.
