Gi Group are proud to partner with a well-known European food manufacturing company, seeking a Maintenance Engineer.
Job Role:
Are you an experienced maintenance engineer? You will manage maintenance and utility departments in a small FMCG food organization. You should have hands-on technical engineering experience with various maintenance activities and team management skills.
Typical Duties include:
* Lead development and implementation of reliability strategies.
* Promote continuous improvement for equipment reliability and efficiency.
* Implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs to minimize reactive maintenance and downtime.
* Work with operations to develop effective PPM and condition-based maintenance strategies.
* Analyze failure data to identify root causes and optimize PPM schedules.
* Conduct risk assessments ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Desirable experience:
* Qualification in an engineering discipline or apprenticeship, preferably multi-disciplinary.
* People management experience is preferred.
* Experience in the Food Industry and FMCG sectors is essential.
* PLC Fault Finding experience.
