Physics Teacher at an Outstanding Wandsworth School – September 2025 Start An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a leading, Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the vibrant London Borough of Wandsworth. This full-time, permanent role, commencing September 2025, is ideal for a passionate Physics Teacher looking to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 within a supportive and high-achieving Science department. As a Physics Teacher, You Will: * Develop and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and A-Level (KS5), fostering a deep understanding of core concepts. * Inspire a passion for Physics through innovative teaching methods, practical experiments in well-equipped laboratories, and by making the subject relevant to the real world. * Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback to support their academic growth and ensure every Physics Teacher in the department contributes to high attainment. * Contribute to the ongoing development of the Physics curriculum and collaborate effectively with colleagues within the wider Science department. * Uphold the school's Outstanding standards and contribute positively to the wider school community and its diverse extracurricular science activities. As a Physics Teacher, You Offer: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * A strong honours degree in Physics or a closely related subject. * Proven experience and success in teaching Physics across Key Stages 3, 4, and crucially, Key Stage 5 (A-Level). * A genuine enthusiasm for Physics and the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities. * Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills, essential for an effective Physics Teacher.
