Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers, specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D is conducted at our Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We are passionate about providing superior technical advice on-farm, which supports our growth alongside our high-quality products.
We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region. The candidate will develop long-term customer relationships, connect with industry stakeholders, and report to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic and operational plans to maximize sales and customer service.
2. Presenting the product range effectively to meet regional needs and opportunities.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships with existing and new trade customers, including product support, customer service, credit control, and debtor management.
5. Enforcing sales administration policies.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to optimize sales and service.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Contributing to overall company development through active participation in management teams.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative with target achievement.
* Technical knowledge of the agriculture sector.
* Strong commercial skills and relationship management at trade and farm levels.
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving attitude and team orientation.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Valid full driver's license.
