Position: Deburrer Type of work: permanent Location: Bristol Salary: £29000 to £30784 Overtime Working hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday Mon -Thu 07:30 a.m. - 16:00 pm. Fri 07:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Overtime (when available) paid at time and half. Responsibilities: To work across several manual and special processes at Bristol site. Supporting where the workload requires, including processes such as assembling, deburring, part marking, part degreasing and testing. Assembling aerospace components, fasteners, inserts. Deburring, and finishing operations for machined components. Pressure Testing: Pneumatic and Hydraulic. Part Marking: Dot Peen, Chemi-Etching, Ink Jetting, Vibro-etching Ultra Sonic cleaning and degreasing. Tapping threaded holes. Support the loading and unloading of heat treatment furnaces. You may be required to perform any other reasonable duties/specific projects from time to time and as directed by management. Appropriate training and shadowing work will be completed to ensure processes are understood and explained. An initiative and drive to learn skills are essential for someone to do well in this role. Skills & Experience. Knowledge of abrasive wheels Knowledge of deburring media Knowledge of deburring and sharp edge requirements Knowledge of deburring tools and instruments Basic understanding of drawings Basic assembly knowledge Knowledge of set up and process of part marking techniques 5S knowledge Aerospace experiences an advantage Benefits: Annual Leave 25 days Bank Holidays.
