Overview
Manpower UK are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client for candidates looking for a new challenge and to progress within the company. The client is seeking experienced Drainage Operatives with a Class 2 licence or candidates with a Class 2 who are willing to learn and be put through their tickets.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–16:00pm. Overtime: Time and a half Monday to Friday after 40 hours; double time on weekends and bank holidays. Stayaways are expected with hotel and food paid for. Be part of the on-call rota.
Role overview (choose department):
* Tanker – Driving tankers and HGVs to support customer disposal needs. Working as part of a team on major cleaning and maintenance jobs. Operating vacuum trucks (vactors), booms, and specialist equipment. Performing tasks in confined spaces and varied environments. Completing digital site reports and vehicle check documentation. Helping maintain vehicles and kit to top standards. Occasional travel and staying away may be required.
* Jet Vac – Operate specialist high-pressure Jet Vac recycling units. Clean sewer lines, tanks, siphons, wet wells, and more. Handle suction hoses, remove debris, clean spillages. Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure full compliance with safety standards. Liaise with clients on-site and represent the company professionally. Submit job paperwork accurately. Work in challenging environments, sometimes involving confined space entry and manual handling.
Requirements for the role:
* HGV Class 2 licence & Full CPC
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
