Job Description:
What you’ll be doing
* Managing a complex product portfolio with niche customer base, focusing on coding, multiplexing, and packaging services for broadcast customers.
* Owning the product plan, pricing strategy, development budget, product P&L, and roadmap, including establishing and monitoring milestones.
* Developing relationships with decision makers and subject matter experts within the Media & Broadcast industry.
* Participating in travel to trade shows and UK-based customer visits.
* Supporting Sales and Technical Consultants in responding to bid requests and RFPs.
* Managing key suppliers, performance metrics, and cost controls.
* Owning the business case for new developments and the P&L for existing products and solutions.
Experience/Skills needed to be successful in the role:
* Broadcast/Media industry expertise – experience with a leading Media & Broadcast provider or manufacturer.
* Product management – experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of new market launches and existing product portfolios.
* Commercial acumen – strong financial literacy, business case development, pricing strategy, and vendor negotiations.
* Technical understanding – of video compression, coding, multiplexing, and streaming technologies, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
* Stakeholder management – ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including external suppliers and internal senior leadership.
