Long Term Futures is proud to be supporting an Ofsted-rated 'Good' all-through SEN school in Birmingham that provides a nurturing and structured environment for pupils aged 4 to 19 with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social and emotional challenges, and complex learning profiles. The Role:You'll lead a small, well-supported class group, delivering adapted and engaging lessons designed to meet each learner's EHCP targets. This is a unique opportunity to shape individual outcomes and build meaningful relationships that last.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across a range of ability levels
* Foster a calm, consistent, and structured classroom environment
* Support students with ASD, SEMH, and other complex needs
* Work closely with the SENCO, therapists, and families to review and refine learning plans
* Encourage independence, resilience, and emotional regulation through a holistic approach
* Use positive behaviour support strategies and track pupil progress effectively
What We're Looking For:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
* Previous experience in an SEN or inclusive setting is highly desirable
* Excellent understanding of neurodiversity, emotional needs, and differentiated teaching
* Strong classroom management and excellent interpersonal skills
* Creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
