Trainee General Manager
The Role This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step up into a future General Manager position whether youre currently a strong Assistant General Manager, experienced Deputy Manager or an emerging leader looking to prove your capability within a premium hospitality environment.
What Youll Be Doing as a Trainee General Manager
Supporting the General Manager in leading, motivating and developing the wider team
Leading shifts and daily operations with confidence and professionalism
Helping build a positive, energetic and high-performing team culture
Driving team engagement, accountability and guest-focused hospitality
Maintaining excellent cellar standards and cask ale quality
Helping manage reservations flow and guest experience during busy services
Delivering exceptional hospitality standards across all areas of the business
Supporting the General Manager with labour, stock and cost controls
Supporting revenue-driving initiatives, events and activations
Developing commercial awareness and understanding of P&L management
Supporting all licensing, health & safety and food safety procedures
Previous hospitality management as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Assistant General Manager
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
