Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities. A background in warehouse operations or commercial driving is advantageous.
Duties
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Load and unload palletised goods with tail-lift & pump truck.
* Communicate effectively with transport team and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
* Maintain accurate delivery records using App's.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries to enhance client satisfaction.
Requirements
* Valid HGV 2 driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
* Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is an advantage
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management.
