Interaction Technical has partnered with a well‑established, growing material handling firm on their search for an experienced mobile forklift repair engineer. The client provides handling and access solutions to firms across the UK with sites nationwide.

Duties / Responsibilities
* Accurately diagnose faults, service and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery.
* Collaborate with customers around plant sites, lifting and handling products.
* Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the best solution is offered.
* Actively travel to sites and carry out repairs and create solutions.
* Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault‑finding and repairs.
Requirements
* Previous experience in the plant or forklift industries (essential).
* Experience with hydraulics, and mechanical & electrical capabilities (essential).
* Experience with engines and batteries (essential).
* Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience.
* Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering – advantageous).
* Full UK driver’s licence.
