The Family
An UHNW family based in Central London is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Rota Nanny to join their fully staffed household.
The family have two children:
1. One child currently attending boarding school
2. A girl aged 8 who attends school in London
This is a long-term position suited to a highly educated candidate with previous UHNW experience and excellent, checkable references.
The Role
This is a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rota position. During working weeks, the role is 24/7.
The successful candidate will be calm, discreet, adaptable and capable of managing a busy and ever-changing household schedule with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
3. Ensuring the children’s health, safety and overall wellbeing at all times
4. Raising any concerns directly with the Principal
5. Supporting social development and encouraging positive behaviour
6. Providing academic support including:
7. Languages (French, English and others as directed)
8. Mathematics
9. Core curriculum subjects
10. Managing medical needs including:
11. Attending doctor appointments
12. Administering medication
13. Maintaining organised and fully stocked medical supplies
14. Overseeing and managing full wardrobe inventories
15. Packing, organising and managing clothing and schedules during travel
16. Assisting with laundress-related duties for the children when travelling
17. Managing the children’s diaries, schedules, lists and spreadsheets
18. Maintaining strong communication with Principals and household staff
Candidate Requirements
The Rota Nanny must have:
19. Minimum 5 years’ experience working within UHNW private households
20. Longevity in previous roles
21. A highly educated background
22. Strong IT skills and confidence managing digital schedules and spreadsheets
23. A positive and calm demeanour
24. A kind but firm approach
25. Confidence in setting fair boundaries and discipline
26. Patience and emotional intelligence
27. Exceptional organisational skills — always thinking ahead
28. Impeccable presentation
29. Full flexibility, particularly around travel
Working Schedule
30. Rota: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
31. Hours: 24/7 whilst on duty
