Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Implant to join a leading FMCG food manufacturer supporting a major UK retailer across chilled and seafood products. Based on-site, you will act as the primary contact for operational, planning, and supply chain matters, aligning production with retailer demand, improving forecast accuracy, managing inventory, and driving initiatives to improve availability, reduce waste, and deliver profitable growth.
The role involves building strong working relationships with retailer buying, supply chain, and merchandising teams, resolving day-to-day operational and supply chain issues, and analysing EPOS data using systems such as Blue Yonder or SAP to improve forecast accuracy. You will monitor OTIF, stock levels, waste, and inventory, support promotional and seasonal planning, facilitate site improvement projects, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals, KPIs, and high performance.
Our ideal candidate will have 1–3 years’ experience in supply chain or demand planning, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, confidence in data analysis, and a proactive problem-solving approach are essential. Experience with ERP or retailer systems is desirable.
