About the Role

Supporting a public sector account delivering TFM services to a large and complex estate, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of contractual changes, as well as contractual Compensation Events and Early Warning Notices. This includes ensuring robust commercial governance across both client and supply chain interfaces, timely notifications, accurate cost/time assessments, and compliance with Delegation of Authority requirements.


Key Responsibilities

* End‑to‑end management of contractual changes, Compensation Events and Early Warning Notices.
* Support the drive for commercial and contractual governance across the account.
* Ensure all commercial decisions and approvals relating to change follow the correct contractual obligations and internal commercial governance such as Delegation of Authority (DOA).
* Maintain accurate document control and filing of all change‑related correspondence, notices, approvals, and supporting evidence in accordance with company and client audit requirements.
* Ensure change workflows (notifications, quotations, acceptances/declines) are progressed through the correct internal governance pathways.
* Coordinate with the wider commercial and project teams to ensure consistency of documentation, version control, and audit traceability.
* Ensure all change documentation (EWNs, CEs, quotations, impact assessments) is produced to a high standard and stored in the appropriate systems or shared drives.
* Proactively identify risks relating to undocumented or unapproved change and escalated appropriately.
* Chair early warning and compensation event meetings with the client.
* Report on the status of all compensation events and early warning notices.
* Liaise with the commercial team to ensure change is correctly managed in the supply chain and identify issues for resolution with the client.
* Review package level contingency to ensure this is reflective of likely change.
* Review cost reporting to ensure all change is accurately recorded.
* Audit back up for supply chain compensation events.


About You


The ideal candidate should have:

* Public sector experience.
* NEC contract and change process knowledge (desirable).
* Strong understanding of Delegation of Authority (DOA) frameworks and commercial governance processes.
* High attention to detail with robust document control and record‑keeping practices.
* Proficiency with commercial management systems, document management platforms, and audit‑ready filing structures.
* Ability to ensure contract notices, quotations, and approvals follow correct procedural, contractual, and internal governance requirements.
* Experience in direct negotiation with the client.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a highly collaborative working environment.
* Financial Acumen and knowledge of Public Sector price book accounting, including MA and OH.
