We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator (9 month FTC) to support in processing invoices and ensuring our suppliers and contributors are paid on time. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to develop your finance career in a hands-on role whilst getting to work closely with teams across a fast-paced media organisation!
About the role
Support the P2P Manager in ensuring all month-end, quarter-end and year-end procedures are completed in line with the agreed timetables, including system close activities, balance sheet reconciliations and KPI metrics.
Maintain strong relationships with all key customers, enabling effective communication of issues and collaboration on new developments, including proactively working with the business to raise open purchase orders with related training as required.
Ensure all suppliers and contributors are paid accurately and on time
Assist with the new supplier process, ensuring adherence to purchasing due diligence and all P2P policies.
Support with managing the accounts payable mail box, ensuring we reach our expected SLA’s.
Assist with month end preparation, helping the business to clear any invoicing issues
About you
Some accounting knowledge
Good understanding of Excel
Excellent customer services skills
Analytical with excellent attention to detail
Understanding of Procure-to-Pay best practices and behaviours
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Strong planning, organisation, and administrative skills
Able to prioritise, react quickly, and work well under pressure
Self-motivated and solutions-focused
