Pupil Support Worker – 27.5hrs/39 weeks fixed term until 9/8/26

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pupil Support Worker to contribute to creating a safe, secure, and inclusive school environment that builds students' confidence and enhances their ability to learn.
The successful candidate will work with and support pupils in various situations. They will be part of the school team implementing strategies aimed at improving pupil performance in areas such as:
* Progress in learning and attainment
* Personal and social development
* Behaviour
* Relationships with peers
* Relationships with staff
* Attendance and punctuality
* Dress code adherence
This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check before an offer of employment is made by West Lothian Council.
