Your new role
As the Payroll Officer, you’ll be at the heart of their finance and HR operations, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time. You’ll manage employee records, handle deductions, liaise with managers and staff, and produce insightful payroll reports.
Responsibilities
1. Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
2. Maintain employee records, ensuring all data is up-to-date andpliant with regulations.
3. Conduct data entry for payroll adjustments, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
4. Calculate and process deductions, including deductions such as HMRC & AOE's
5. Work with managers and employees
6. Monitor and process pension payments and uploads
7. Prepare reports and analyses related to payroll metrics for management review.
8. Manage accounts payable related to payroll expenses.
9. Assist in the integration of payroll systems.
10. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment of employee benefits and deductions.
11. Monitor and record all holidays, medical appointments & sick leave
12. Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll matters in a professional manner.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
13. Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar position
14. Proficiency in payroll and accounting software
15. Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
16. Strong organisational abilities
17. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently
