Join us in shaping an exciting new service for children and young people.
We are launching a new CAMHS Day Patient provision, offering intensive, compassionate and recovery‑focused support for young people and their families. We are now recruiting motivated professionals who want to make a meaningful difference.

This is an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to a career in psychology to gain valuable NHS experience. You will work closely with psychologists and the wider multidisciplinary team, support therapeutic groups, and assist with audits, service development and research. Strong communication skills, sensitivity, and a commitment to learning are essential. Applicants should hold at least a 2:1 in psychology and be eligible for BPS graduate membership.
Young people in the service may have neurodiversity, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma histories and high‑risk behaviours. You will be supported through supervision and a well‑established Assistant Psychologist forum, alongside CAMHS‑specific training.
We are committed to antiracist practice and improving equity across CAMHS and the wider Trust. We particularly welcome applicants who reflect the diverse communities we serve.
