Reservations Agent Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level, in the position of a Reservations Agent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer all incoming reservation inquiries via telephone, fax, or email promptly, aiming to convert inquiries into bookings.
2. Be fully knowledgeable about the operation, functionality, and standards of the OPERA reservations system.
3. Input reservations into the OPERA system accurately and completely, adhering to departmental standards.
4. Maintain accurate filing systems for all correspondence, completing filing daily.
5. Ensure all system traces are actioned daily.
6. Follow up on and charge for all 'no-shows' from the previous night.
7. Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing daily.
Key Requirements:
1. Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
2. High accuracy and attention to detail in work.
3. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Opera PMS is essential.
5. Great team player.
