Chief Executive Officer – Stealth mode NewCo

This is a rare opportunity to step into a CEO role at the creation stage of a new immunology focused biotech. The company is currently at project stage and will initially be built with a very small internal team and external consultants.
The CEO role here is intentionally technical. This is not a fundraising led position. Instead, it suits someone closer to a CSO profile who wants full ownership of scientific direction, pace and momentum.
The Role
You will be responsible for turning a scientific concept into a credible, executable company. This includes shaping the translational strategy, setting early milestones, guiding experimental direction and building momentum from day one.
As one of the first hires, you will be deeply involved in decision making and prioritisation. You will work closely with scientific partners and external collaborators, while setting the tone, urgency and culture of the business.

* Early data generated efficiently and with purpose
* A focused, credible scientific narrative established early
* The foundations of a company built properly, not prematurely
Your Background
* Strong technical and scientific depth, able to challenge and shape strategy directly
* Prior experience in pharma combined with early biotech building exposure
* Comfortable operating with very limited infrastructure initially
* First time CEOs are very welcome, as are repeat founders
* Someone who enjoys creating structure through action rather than process
This role suits someone who wants to build something from the ground up and take genuine ownership of scientific and company direction.
