We’re looking for a Cleaning Operations Manager who shares our commitment to excellence. Someone who goes the extra mile to ensure their teams and sites set the industry standard.
About the Role
This is a multi-site role overseeing cleaning and security services for a wide portfolio of blue-chip clients, involved in financial services, distribution, and manufacturing across the Yorkshire area.
* Leadership & Service Delivery: You’ll ensure high standards in cleaning and manned security.
* Client & Team Management: You’ll build strong relationships through site visits, client meetings, and staff training, ensuring seamless operations.
* Scheduling & Compliance: You’ll oversee rostering (using Timegate), staff motivation, performance management, and compliance with industry best practices.
* Technology & Reporting: You’ll have access to cutting-edge systems, making reporting, payroll, and scheduling efficient and transparent.
Above all, you will be responsible for ensuring the retention and development of your client base.
What We’re Looking For
* Management experience in security and/or cleaning is essential.
* Front-line SIA Licence is required; we can assist with this if necessary.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
* High IT literacy – you’ll be supported by the best systems and must be comfortable using them.
* Full UK Driving Licence and own car – you’ll work remotely but report to our York HQ at least once a month.
Salary: Starting from £47,000 per year.
Applicants without current management experience in either the cleaning or security sectors will not be considered.
