We’re excited to be recruiting multiple Electrical Maintenance Engineers for one of our prestigious clients based in Telford!
We're looking for individuals with a strong electrical background, ideally with experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments. Mechanical knowledge is a strong advantage.
You’ll join a collaborative team of engineers, reporting to Team Leaders, Supervisors, and the Engineering Manager in a modern, well-equipped facility.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What you’ll be doing
* Planned and reactive maintenance
* Work as part of a small, skilled engineering team covering both electrical and mechanical repairs
* Maintaining and repairing equipment including die casting machines, Siemens PLCs, robotics, presses, and CNC machines
* Aim to maximise machinery performance and minimise production downtime
* Identify faults and escalate major issues to site management
* Support with machinery upgrades, installations and improvements
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
Hours
Week 1: Mon-Fri6:00am-14:00pm
Week 2: Mon-Fri 14:00pm-22:00pm
Week 3: Mon-Fri 22:00pm-6:00am
Pay
£40,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
* Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an electrical maintenance role
* Electrically qualified (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, 18th Edition or equivalent)
* Background in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good understanding of health & safety regulations
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Full UK Driving Licence
