Position Overview
The post-holder will deliver clinical sessions across Obstetrics & Gynaecology under consultant oversight and will be included in the senior registrar on‑call rota covering Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The clinical sessions and timetable will be tailored to the specialist’s preference, with dedicated time for the chosen speciality subject. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to complete Advanced Training Skills Modules (SITMs) and will receive support for the CESR pathway.
Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical sessions across O&G specialties with consultant oversight.
* Participate in the senior registrar on‑call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
* Manage clinical sessions and timetable aligned to specialist interest, including dedicated time for the chosen speciality subject.
* Contribute 50% of resident out‑of‑hours duties within the working week (no weekend working).
* Complete Advanced Training Skills Modules (SITMs) and progress through the CESR pathway.
Qualifications
* ST6+ level Obstetrics and Gynaecology doctor.
* Strong interest in preterm birth prevention and management, ambulatory gynaecology or menopause.
* Ability to work flexibly across trust locations to meet service demands.
