An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced individual to join the Central Homeless Team within Housing Services. As a Team Leader you will be responsible for managing, overseeing, monitoring and evaluating a range of internal and external housing support services within South Lanarkshire. You will ensure the effective management of resources, contribute towards service improvements and support individuals and communities in accessing the housing support they need through customer consultation and engagement. You should have similar experience of working within a housing support environment, an equivalent registered support or care service. You will have an understanding of current issues and legislation in relation to housing support and homelessness. Excellent IT skills are required as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload in an effective way and to respond and adapt to changing priorities required in delivering a quality service. You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.
