Salary: £22,642 to £28,389 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Food and Beverage Lecturer & Restaurant Coordinator to join a college we are working with in Southport on a permanent basis. This exciting dual role combines high-quality teaching with hands-on restaurant management, offering a unique opportunity to shape and inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals.
You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching to 16–18-year-old learners across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 programmes in Food and Beverage Service, while also coordinating and managing practical learning within our student-run training restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in food and beverage service
Plan and deliver practical sessions in a professional restaurant environment
Coordinate daily lunch services and occasional evening events
Manage student rotas, service planning, and operational logistics
Maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and customer experience
Support student development, employability skills, and progression
Ensure health & safety, food hygiene, and safeguarding standards are met
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A strong background in hospitality/food and beverage service
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Experience working with 16–18 learners (desirable)
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Passion for developing young people
Ability to manage practical learning environments effectively
High professional standards and strong industry knowledge
