THE ROLE
You will play an integral part in providing proactive administrative and secretarial support to a busy and high-performing conveyancing team.
* Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
* Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and arranging appointments.
* Handling all aspects of file administration, including opening, maintaining and closing client files.
* Carrying out Land Registry checks and property searches.
* Assisting with post-completion processes, such as SDLT submissions.
* Supporting billing, document management and the overall progress of matters from instruction through to completion.
THE CANDIDATE
You will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Legal Secretary or in a conveyancing support role, with a solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process. You will demonstrate fast and accurate typing skills, excellent document production and organisation, and a professional, approachable manner in all client interactions. Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
