About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Female Live-In Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a young man with complex needs living in Blackpool.

Please note: Due to the personal care requirements of this role, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be female in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
About the Individual
You will be supporting a 24 year old man with:
* Severe learning disabilities
* Epilepsy
* PEG feeding requirements
* Complex health and personal care needs
He requires consistent, person-centred support delivered with patience, understanding, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing 24-hour live-in care and support
* Supporting with all aspects of personal care
* Administering and managing medication
* Managing and monitoring epilepsy, including seizure response protocols
* Supporting and maintaining PEG feeding
* Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
* Encouraging engagement in activities and promoting independence
* Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
* Working collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs
* Experience with epilepsy management
* PEG feeding experience (or willingness to undergo specialist training)
* A calm, confident, and compassionate approach
* Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
* Good communication and record-keeping skills
* Flexibility and reliability
