We’re delighted to be launching a pop-up store on the Kings Road in Chelsea, London, from 1st February to 8th June 2026 (operating 7 days per week). As part of taking our \"tree-to-knicker\" magic to the King's Road, we need an energetic, professional, and friendly Sales Assistant to help us bring the Stripe & Stare brand to life in Chelsea. You will be the face of the brand, helping customers discover our sustainable collections and ensuring every visitor has a memorable experience.
Stripe & Stare launched 8 years ago. We are a fast-growing, sustainable fashion business, known for making the most comfortable knickers in the world, from trees! Barking mad, right? Alongside our ‘flagship’ knickers, we also sell supremely comfortable PJs, bras, and other clothing layers. Our business is primarily e-commerce based, selling D2C in the UK and abroad, with a growing US market. Our customers also buy direct from our wholesale network partners including Selfridges and multiple independent boutiques in the UK and Nordstrom and Shopbop in the US.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Pop-Up Shop Assistant for a contract role running from February to June 26. This on-site position is located in London and involves assisting with the daily operations of our pop-up store. The Pop-Up Shop Assistant will be responsible for engaging with customers, providing excellent customer service, displaying merchandise, assisting with sales transactions, and maintaining an inviting store atmosphere. The role also includes handling inventory, ensuring the store remains tidy and organised, and supporting promotional events as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver a high-end, welcoming service that represents the Stripe & Stare brand values.
Sales & Product Storytelling: Confidently share our brand story—from our sustainable \"tree-to-knicker\" process to the benefits of our fabrics.
Visual Standards: Assist the Manager in maintaining high store standards and visual merchandising to keep the shop floor looking beautiful.
Stock Management: Assist with deliveries, inventory accuracy, and replenishment to ensure our bestsellers are always available.
Transaction Handling: Efficiently manage the cash register, processing sales, returns, and exchanges professionally.
Fitting Room Hosting: Provide styling advice and support in the fitting rooms (note: technical bra fitting is not required).
Daily Operations: Support the Shop Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the pop-up during its 7-day-a-week operation.
