Introduction to the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Coventry. This role is suitable for an ECT Humanities Teacher or an experienced Humanities Teacher with the ability to teach subjects such as History, Geography, or RE.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be part of a department committed to developing critical thinking, cultural understanding, and strong written skills among pupils.

Key Responsibilities
The successful Humanities Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
Planning engaging and well-sequenced lessons
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
Maintaining consistent classroom routines and behaviour standards
Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
Requirements
To be considered for this Humanities Teacher role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities discipline
Ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom management skills
A collaborative and reflective approach
Commitment to safeguarding
