Maintenance Engineer
Stonehouse – Day Shift – Up to £52,000 per annum.
A great opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a high‑performing engineering team, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance while driving improvements across fast‑paced food production lines.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimise downtime.
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and site equipment.
* Support improvement projects and system upgrades.
* Identify ways to improve machinery reliability and efficiency.
* Work closely with production teams to optimise performance.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with site‑wide facilities maintenance.
Essential Requirements
* Multi‑skilled engineer (electrical).
* FMCG food production experience.
* NVQ Level 3 or engineering apprenticeship.
* Strong electrical/mechanical fault‑finding skills.
* Experience with food machinery (baggers, weighers, conveyors, robots, etc).
* Understanding of line control systems (I/O, sensors, relays, 24V, VFDs, pneumatics).
* Strong health & safety focus and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

* Up to £52,000 per annum
* Day shift (Lates) – no nights
* 28 days holiday
* Free onsite parking
