Job Description Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor
Location: Manchester (Hybrid 1 day office 4 days WFH)
Salary: DOE
Hours: Full-time
The Opportunity
We are working with a specialist law firm who are seeking an experienced Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor to join their Manchester team. The Role
* Manage a caseload of financial mis-selling claims from instruction through to settlement or trial.
* Provide clear practical advice and high-quality representation to clients.
* Draft review and prepare legal documents including claim forms witness statements and settlement agreements.
* Conduct negotiations with defendants insurers and other representatives to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory professional and firm standards.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff where appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records using the firm's case management system.
Key Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with an active practising certificate.
* Demonstrable experience in handling financial mis-selling claims (pensions investments mortgages PPI or similar regulated products).
* Strong knowledge of litigation processes and civil procedure rules.
* Excellent client care and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
* Confident communication skills both written and verbal.
* IT proficiency including case management systems.
