Join our supportive and progressive school in Newham as a Teacher of Girls' PE, with exciting TLR opportunities focused on female leadership in sport. We are looking for a motivated educator keen to develop leadership skills within a thriving department and inspire female leadership through sport. This role offers the prospect of a TLR for the right candidate, allowing contribution to the strategic direction of girls' PE and the school's wider sporting vision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Girls' PE lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
* Encourage female students to become confident and independent participants and leaders in physical activity and sport.
* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and promote girls' participation in sport.
* Contribute to planning and assessment of the Girls' PE curriculum and extracurricular sports, focusing on leadership development.
* Opportunities for TLR leadership in curriculum innovation, assessment strategies for female athletes, or developing female student leadership within sport.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to mentor and empower young women.
