Pay & Benefits That Value You
* £13.75 per hour – Weekdays
* £14.75 per hour – Weekends
* Paid travel time between visits – £13.75 per hour
* 45p per mile mileage allowance
* £100 bonus if you have a transferable DBS
* £40 MOT contribution
* Full paid training – no experience needed

What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide one‑to‑one support to older people in their own homes, helping them stay independent, comfortable, and connected to the community.
* Support clients with outings such as afternoon tea, shopping trips, or fish and chips in Whitby.
* Help with personal care and daily routines.
* Provide medication support.
* Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement.
* Support clients to attend appointments and community activities.
* Help with shopping, meal preparation, cooking, and light household tasks.
* Promote independence, dignity, comfort, and companionship in every visit.
Physical requirements:
* Carrying shopping or household items.
* Kneeling or working in low positions when supporting clients.
* Assisting with mobility and manual handling.
Where You’ll Work
Support clients across York and surrounding villages, including Acomb, Bishopthorpe, Clifton, Copmanthorpe, Dringhouses, Fulford, Haxby, Huntington, Poppleton, Stamford Bridge, Wheldrake, Easingwold, Green Hammerton and nearby areas.

Requirements:
* A full UK driving licence.

No Experience? We’ll Train You.
Many of our best Care Assistants joined us with no previous care experience. If you have the right values, we’ll provide all the training, mentoring, and support you need to succeed.
