About The Role
In your role as a Home Administrator at HC-One, you’ll have one key quality that truly sets you apart: unparalleled kindness. Kindness will guide every aspect of your work in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care home. Everyone who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
As a Home Administrator, your responsibilities will include managing administrative systems and processes to support our Home Manager in effectively running services. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing reports, administering the Time & Attendance system, and processing payroll and HR information—all with Resident wellbeing as the top priority.
We are looking for someone with an IT and Administration qualification, such as ECDL, and experience in admin or secretarial support in a busy office. You should have excellent Microsoft Office skills, strong time management, and organizational abilities. Beyond technical skills, your positive energy and natural ability to get along with people are vital. You will communicate with Residents and colleagues with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training suitable for their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We’ll provide full training, making this a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a variety of benefits and support for your physical and psychological well-being, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* A nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Group life assurance
* Wagestream for flexible access to pay and financial wellbeing
* Learning and development opportunities and support for qualifications
* GP online service for 24/7 virtual consultations
* Learning from experienced colleagues within a supportive team
* Colleague discounts at over 1600 high street stores
* Free Employee Assistance Programme for physical, mental, and financial support
* Recognition schemes such as ‘Kindness in Care’ and Long Service Awards
* Refer a Friend scheme offering up to £1000 per successful referral
We aim for a quick turnaround from offer to start date and are committed to inclusive practices, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds to join our HC-One family.
