Were looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Customer Experience (CX) Directorate on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a busy, high-volume role acting as the main point of contact across a number of departments including our Contact Centre, Wholesale Development, Marketing & Communications, Processing & Complaints and Cash Collection & Management.
Youll support managers and employees with a wide range of HR matters, helping to ensure fair, consistent, and policy-compliant decision making in a demanding and fast-moving environment.
What youll be doing:
* Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries across a large, busy directorate
* Providing advice on performance, absence, employee relations, and HR policies
* Managing HR casework and escalating complex issues where appropriate
* Supporting sickness absence, capability, and performance processes
* Coaching managers to handle people issues confidently and effectively
* Supporting HR reporting, payroll deadlines, and wider HR initiatives
* Building strong relationships quickly across multiple teams
* Promoting a fair, consistent, high-performance culture
What were looking for:
* Experience in an HR Advisor or similar role with strong employment law knowledge
* Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workload with competing priorities
* Confident in triaging requests, prioritising, and pushing back when needed
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Experience in employee relations, absence, and performance management
* CIPD Level 5 (desirable)
* Experience with HR systems such as Oracle (desirable)
