This is a unique opportunity to be at the centre of it all, with the first phase of construction works currently taking place and the second phase to commence very soon. You'll be working alongside consultants, designers, local government officers, trustees, creatives and that’s just to name a few. You'll sit within the newly formed East Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull Portfolio, at the forefront of the organisations work in looking outward and celebrating urban nature, beauty and history.As a member of the Senior Project Leadership Team, you'll ensure the administration side of the project is coordinated through a dedicated Project Management Office. This is a wide ranging role, where coordinating finances, scheduling meetings, and climbing a scaffold are all part of a normal week.The project has entered into the construction phase and on site, you'll be regularly liaising with contractors, helping to organise and deliver public/VIP site tours, as well as checking in with the neighbours. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll regularly support them and the Project Director in delivering the day-to-day work of the project; on occasion deputising for both roles where appropriate. You'll have a keen eye for detail, showcasing your organisation and communication skills, whether telling the story of the project through creating exciting content for multiple audiences or forensically interrogating financial data for our grant funders.
