Do you want to make a real difference in an alternative provision?\n\nWe are currently supporting several inclusive and dynamic schools in Northampton who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.\n\nWhether you have previous experience in education or are looking to start your career in the classroom, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional learning or emotional needs.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nSupport students in lessons and during independent tasks, promoting confidence, engagement, and academic progress\n\nProvide tailored one-to-one and small group support for students with SEND, EAL, SEMH, or behavioural needs\n\nAssist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource creation\n\nEncourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through clear boundaries and supportive interactions\n\nHelp create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment\n\nObserve and report on student progress to help inform teaching and interventions\n\nWe're Looking For:\n\nA caring, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in supporting young people\n\nExperience working with children or young people in schools, youth groups, sports coaching, or similar settings\n\nA strong communicator who can build positive relationships with students and staff\n\nUnderstanding of or interest in safeguarding, SEND, or behaviour strategies (training provided)\n\nA team player who is flexible, patient, and ready to make an impact\n\nA Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is beneficial but not essential\n\nWhat's On Offer:\n\nFull-time, long-term roles in supportive Northampton SEND Schools or Alternative Provisions\n\nCompetitive daily pay depending on experience and qualifications\n\nAccess to CPD including safeguarding, SEND, behaviour support, and more\n\nClear routes for career progression into teaching, HLTA, pastoral care, or SEN support\n\nA chance to contribute meaningfully to the lives of students and become part of a positive school community\n\nIf you're ready to start or continue a rewarding career in education, we'd love to hear from you.\n Apply now to find out more about Teaching Assistant opportunities in Northampton starting September 2025.\n\n#INDNOR
