Are you an ambitious engineer ready to take the next step into project management? I’m currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join a fast-growing engineering automation company based in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical or electrical engineering background who wants to move into a client-facing, leadership-oriented role. Full training and a structured career development plan are provided – all you need is the right foundation and drive.
What we’re looking for:
* A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Some exposure to an industrial, automation, or manufacturing environment (desirable).
* Great communication and organisational skills – this is a client-facing role.
* Passion for learning, team collaboration, and delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support end-to-end project delivery, from planning through to installation and handover.
* Act as a key contact between internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate project timelines, resources, budgets, and documentation.
* Attend client meetings and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Support technical problem-solving during project execution.
* Ensure smooth and timely handover to clients and internal service teams.
* Drive health, safety, and compliance standards across all project activities.
