About us
We are seeking to appoint a full-time inspirational teacher to provide leadership in the development and management of Vocational Provision and to teach Health and Social Care and Humanities. You will join a forward-looking and dynamic Humanities team which is warm and friendly, with high expectations of everyone. We aim to raise student aspirations to achieve personal and academic excellence and to ensure they have the skills, confidence, and resilience to become passionate lifelong learners with the desire to fulfill their potential and more.
The leadership and development of a range of vocational qualifications across Level 2 and 3 is essential to this post. The successful candidate will join our popular and flourishing Faculty, with a focus on innovation and sharing good practice. We are looking for a leader who has a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Health and Social Care and can engage and motivate students. You will be expected to teach across key stages, including some Key Stage 3 provision within Humanities.

Desired Criteria
* Successful middle leadership experience in secondary education with a record of improving learning and achievement.
* High academic achievement and ongoing professional development.
* Knowledge of teaching DT vocational courses and recent educational initiatives.
* Proficiency in ICT and a range of teaching and behaviour management strategies.
* Creative, innovative, and adaptable teaching approach.
* Qualified Teacher Status, Degree, and PGCE or QTS.
* Experience in planning and teaching secondary curricula with high standards.
* Ability to promote progress, manage behaviour, and demonstrate curriculum knowledge.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
